Libra, the Scales
Libra is one of the twelve zodiac constellations, meaning
“the weighing scales” in Latin. Being the only zodiac
constellation representing an object, Libra is depicted
as the scales held by the Greek goddess of justice.
As one of the smallest zodiac constellations, Libra has
an area of only 538 square degrees and holds only four
officially named stars, their names being: Brachium,
Zubenelgenubi, Zubenelhakrabi, and Zubeneschamali.
